PUTHAPP (Short film) LAUNCHING AND SCREENING EVENT

The SIP club of Moulana arts college Chennara collaboration with the Chaithanya Palliative center Koottayi proudly hosted the launch and screening of the short film, titled “Puthapp” on 19/8/2024. The event began at 2pm in the college auditorium, with a welcome speech by Anwar koottayi (Director of the short film and the coordinator of the palliative unit Koottayi). And he shares the importance of palliative care. The audience included students, faculty members, and chief guest Dr Satheesh (College principal )

          The chief guest Dr. Satheesh sir inaugurated the program, he shared insights into the palliative care and also spoke about the importance of such projects in our society. The short film explores to ease discomfort and support the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the patient. Post-screening, the audience engaged in a Q&A session with the film’s cast and crew. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the film’s storytelling, cinematography, and direction. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Muhammed Rasi (Administrator of the college)
