On Thursday, 29th August 2024, a group of 37 Psychology students (10 from the first year and 27 from the second year) from Moulana College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, accompanied by four department teachers, visited Pratheeksha Bhavan. The visit started at 10:30 AM and lasted until 1:30 PM.
           During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with the residents and staff of Pratheeksha Bhavan, gaining insights into the various psychological challenges faced by the individuals there. The students observed and discussed the therapeutic interventions being provided, which offered a practical understanding of their classroom learning. This visit also enabled the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, enhancing their educational experience.The group left Pratheeksha Bhavan at 1:30 PM and returned to the college at 2:30 PM. The visit was considered highly beneficial for the students, providing them with valuable exposure to the application of psychology in a professional environment.
         The visit to Pratheeksha Bhavan was successful and provided an enriching experience for the students. The interaction with professionals and the observation of real-world psychological practices significantly contributed to the students’ academic and practical knowledge in the field of psychology.
