The NSS unit (275) of Maulana College organized a beach cleaning drive at the Padinjarekkara Beach as part of a month-long initiative focused on environmental cleanliness in various regions. The program took place on September 28, starting at 8:00 AM, with all NSS volunteers actively participating in the cleanup efforts.
The primary focus of the activity was the removal of plastic waste, which had accumulated on the beach. Volunteers worked diligently to clear the area, aiming to make the beach cleaner and more environmentally friendly.Â
The program was led by NSS volunteers Muhammad Shabeer, Nadir, and Rinsha Haneefa, who coordinated the efforts and ensured the successful execution of the cleaning drive. The activity was part of a larger commitment by the NSS unit to contribute to the betterment of the environment and promote awareness about the importance of keeping public spaces clean and free from pollution.
