MAGAZINE INAUGURATION

On September 27, at 10:00 AM, the Student Union “Intifada” of Maulana College of Arts, Science, and Commerce successfully organized the launch of their college magazine. The event was graced by the presence of renowned thinker P. Surendran as the chief guest. Joining him as a special guest was Muhammad Askar, a travel thinker and the founder of the travel platform Koode In.

The magazine, titled Muhabbat Ki Dukaan, reflects the commitment of Maulana College to social responsibility while preserving creativity and artistic sensibilities. P. Surendran inaugurated the magazine on behalf of the Intifada Student Union, emphasizing that every student is a promise for tomorrow and should be actively engaged in various social causes as they move into different sectors of society.

During the event, a special honor was given to Sarangi, the daughter of Ramya, the Head of the BCA Department and one of the college’s earliest faculty members. Sarangi achieved a remarkable feat by attending 100 questions in just five minutes, earning the title of First Runner-Up in the Influencer Book of World Records. Additionally, despite her young age, she authored and published a book titled Sarangi’s Kunjeyazhuthukal (Sarangi’s Little Writings). The college management recognized and honored Sarangi during the magazine launch ceremony for her outstanding accomplishments.

The event also featured speeches and other related programs, with active participation from both students and faculty members. The launch was not only a celebration of creativity but also a reflection of the college’s dedication to nurturing responsible and socially aware individuals.
