Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Moulana College of Arts Science and Commerce is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in both academic and administrative functions. By coordinating quality-related initiatives and documenting activities aimed at enhancing institutional performance, the IQAC plays a pivotal role in driving excellence across all facets of the college’s operations. The IQAC’s efforts align with College commitment to achieving the highest standards in education and institutional governance.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in our college on October 2020 to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Institute. Under the leadership of its first coordinator, Ershad K.M., and later Ayisha M.K. during the 2022-23 periods, the IQAC has been instrumental in fostering a vibrant academic environment.Â
Its primary focus is on promoting the quality of the teaching-learning process and encouraging research initiatives. The cell actively supports departments in implementing innovative practices and strives to identify and address the institution’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges (SWOC analysis).Â
At the beginning of each academic year, IQAC outlines a detailed plan of action for quality enhancement, which is subsequently reviewed at the year’s end to assess outcomes and impacts. Through these efforts, IQAC aims to continuously improve the educational standards and overall institutional effectiveness.

At the end of each semester, comprehensive evaluation records are compiled to assess the performance of each department. This process involves a thorough inspection of academic and operational records to ensure accountability and identify areas for improvement.
To assess student satisfaction with various college activities, the Institute prepares internal questionnaires and conducts surveys regularly. This systematic approach helps gather valuable insights into the student experience.
 Survey Process
 Importance of Student Feedback
– Improvement of Services: Insights from surveys help the college enhance programs and services, aligning them more closely with student needs and expectations.
– Engagement: Involving students in the feedback process fosters a sense of ownership and community.
– Informed Decision-Making: Management can make data-driven decisions based on student feedback, leading to more effective policies and initiatives.
By conducting these surveys, the Institute demonstrates its commitment to continually improving the student experience and fostering a supportive learning environment.
The Feedback Portal is a vital tool designed to gather insights and opinions from various stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff. This portal facilitates continuous improvement by enabling the Institute to:
1.Collect Feedback: Capture real-time feedback on courses, teaching methods, and institutional services.
 Importance of Feedback
Regular feedback is crucial for maintaining high standards in education and administration. The insights gathered through the portal play a significant role in shaping the future of the Institute, ensuring that it remains responsive to the needs of its community.Â
By actively participating in the Feedback Portal, stakeholders contribute to the Institute’s mission of continuous quality enhancement and excellence.
Currently, the college employs a dual approach to collect student feedback: maintaining physical feedback papers and utilizing Google Forms.
Feedback Collection Methods
1.Physical Feedback Papers:Â
   – Students can submit their feedback on paper forms, which are collected and securely stored.
   – This method allows for immediate, direct feedback during events or at designated times, ensuring students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts.
   – Digital surveys are created using Google Forms for broader accessibility and convenience.
   – Students can complete these forms at their own pace and from any location, promoting higher participation rates.
   – The use of Google Forms also allows for easy data collection and analysis, streamlining the feedback process.
 Benefits of the Current Practices
– Comprehensive Insights: Combining both methods ensures that the college captures a wide range of feedback, catering to different student preferences.
– Ease of Analysis: Digital feedback through Google Forms simplifies data organization and analysis, making it easier to identify trends and areas for improvement.
– Enhanced Engagement: Offering both paper and digital options encourages greater student participation and ensures that all voices are heard.
By integrating these feedback collection methods, the college effectively gathers valuable insights to inform decision-making and enhance the overall student experience.
