BA Political science department conducted PTA meeting of 2023-2026 batch 3rd semester students on Friday 30-08-2024. 20 parents attended the meeting from 2.00 pm to 4.00pm on time. Out of 31 students only parents of 20 students participated in the meeting. BA Political science department HOD Mohamed Irshad V presided over the meeting. Class teacher Hafeefa P and other teachers were present in the entire meeting. Discussions were held in the meeting about Frist semester result, requirement of attendance, internal marks etc. The opinion of the parents on the academic subjects of the students was also recorded.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MECHINE LEARNING PROGRAM
The Program” Add on course orientation was conducted for all BCA Student under Moulana college In association with Tech byheart . PROJECT ORIENTATION FOR FINAL YEAR BCA STUDENTS
The “Research Methodology Orientation Class” Was conducted for all BCA final year students under BCA department in association with IT club of Moulana College. The orientation class was led by Mr. Ummar Mukthar (Software Developer). Remya (HOD of BCA Department Moulana College) inaugurated the session. Jamsheena KVO (Assistant Professor of BCA) welcomed everyone to the event. Ayisha MK(Assistant Professor of BCA) addressed everyone to the orientation class. PATHEEKSHA BHAVAN INSITUTION VISIT
On Thursday, 29th August 2024, a group of 37 Psychology students (10 from the first year and 27 from the second year) from Moulana College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, accompanied by four department teachers, visited Pratheeksha Bhavan. The visit started at 10:30 AM and lasted until 1:30 PM. During the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with the residents and staff of Pratheeksha Bhavan, gaining insights into the various psychological challenges faced by the individuals there. The students observed and discussed the therapeutic interventions being provided, which offered a practical understanding of their classroom learning. This visit also enabled the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, enhancing their educational experience.The group left Pratheeksha Bhavan at 1:30 PM and returned to the college at 2:30 PM. The visit was considered highly beneficial for the students, providing them with valuable exposure to the application of psychology in a professional environment. The visit to Pratheeksha Bhavan was successful and provided an enriching experience for the students. The interaction with professionals and the observation of real-world psychological practices significantly contributed to the students’ academic and practical knowledge in the field of psychology.
CLASS PTA-BCA DEPARTMENT
BCA department conducted PTA meeting of 2022-2025 batch 5th semester students on Friday 23-08-2024. All parents attended the meeting from 10 am to 12.30 pm on time. Out of 51 students only parents of 34 students participated in the meeting. BCA department HOD Ramya Teacher presided over the meeting. Class teacher Jamsheena and other teachers were present in the entire meeting. Discussions were held in the meeting about fourth semester result, requirement of attendance, internal marks etc. The opinion of the parents on the academic subjects of the students was also recorded.
CLASS PTA- B.SC PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT
On 21 August 2024, the Department of Psychology at Moulana College of Arts, Science, and Commerce conducted a parents’ meeting for the parents of second-year Psychology students. The meeting commenced at 10:30 AM and continued until 1:30 PM. The primary agenda of the meeting was to analyze the first semester results, discuss student discipline, and ensure parental awareness of the college’s regulations.The meeting saw almost full participation from the parents, reflecting their keen interest in their children’s academic and behavioral progress. Agenda Result Analysis : The session began with a detailed analysis of the first-semester results, highlighting the students’ academic performance. The Department Head, Reshma Rajan, along with the class tutor, led this segment, providing insights into the strengths and areas for improvement. Student Discipline : Following the result analysis, there was an important discussion regarding student discipline within the college. The HoD and class tutor emphasized the importance of adhering to the college’s rules and regulations, which are essential for maintaining a conducive learning environment. College Niyamavali:The parents were given instructions on the college’s ‘Niyamavali,’ which includes guidelines for student behavior, college timings, and general discipline. The emphasis was placed on ensuring that students arrive at the college on time and maintain discipline during their time on campus. Unofficial Groups:One of the critical points discussed was the involvement of students in unofficial groups, especially those that do not include teachers or parents. It was stressed that such groups could lead to negative influences and distractions. Parents were required to sign a document assuring that their children would not participate in any such groups. Department HoD and class tutor Reshma Rajan who initiated and guided the session Surabhi, Keerthana, Sajla, Psychology Department teachers who addressed the parents, reinforcing the importance of the discussed topics.Sruthi, The English teacher who also participated and contributed to the discussions. The meeting concluded with an open forum where parents could raise concerns and seek clarifications. Overall, the session was productive, with active participation from both parents and teachers, ensuring a collaborative approach to student development. The meeting ended at 1:30 PM, with parents leaving better informed and aligned with the college’s expectations and values.
PUTHAPP (Short film) LAUNCHING AND SCREENING EVENT
The SIP club of Moulana arts college Chennara collaboration with the Chaithanya Palliative center Koottayi proudly hosted the launch and screening of the short film, titled “Puthapp” on 19/8/2024. The event began at 2pm in the college auditorium, with a welcome speech by Anwar koottayi (Director of the short film and the coordinator of the palliative unit Koottayi). And he shares the importance of palliative care. The audience included students, faculty members, and chief guest Dr Satheesh (College principal ) The chief guest Dr. Satheesh sir inaugurated the program, he shared insights into the palliative care and also spoke about the importance of such projects in our society. The short film explores to ease discomfort and support the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the patient. Post-screening, the audience engaged in a Q&A session with the film’s cast and crew. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many appreciating the film’s storytelling, cinematography, and direction. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Muhammed Rasi (Administrator of the college)
MUSIC FEST
World music day celebrated under the co-ordination of music club in association with college union on 21st august 2024 at college compound. The program start with welcome by program co-ordinator, Saritha A.K(HOD,BCCA Dept).The program inaugurated by Dr.satheesh K.P(principal of moulana college) and presidential address by Rasi(Administrator).13 students were participated in the program. NATIONAL READING DAY PROGRAM(02/07/2024)
Chennara Moulana College hosted a National Reading Day Program on July 2/7/2024, which effectively celebrated the joy of reading and raised literacy awareness among participants. The event emphasized the value of reading for personal development and education. The session was presided over by College Literary Club Coordinator Hajara C. and was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. KP Sateesh. Ashiba Girish, a poet and Bashir laureate, was the event’s chief guest. Naju (Accountant) earned the Granthamitra Award for being a devoted reader on Reading Day. Soumya K. P (Malayalam department teacher) recounted her reading experience. Muhammad Razi (administrator) Shiny N. K. (HR Club Coordinator), Aysha M. K. (IQAC Coordinator), and Mohammad Irshad V. The Convocation Ceremony of Moulana College of arts science and commerce was held on 15/5/2024. The event marked a significant milestone for the graduating students of the Arts faculty. The ceremony was attended by students, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests. The event commenced with a welcome speech Dr Satheesh Kp (Principal ). In his speech, he extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, graduates, and their families. He encouraged the students to continue pursuing their passion and to contribute positively to the community. The Chief Guest, Dr. KM Bharathan (Registrar Malayalam University), delivered an inspiring speech.
